Serenbe supports small businesses, and you can too!
The 2008 recession hit the US hard, but small business owners felt a particular punch. So when American Express created their Small Business Saturday campaign in 2010, it was a welcome way to give local businesses exposure.
Ten years after the recession small businesses are thriving, and Serenbe is a prime example. Just in the last few years, the community has grown to include more than 30 shops, restaurants and services. These locally owned businesses provide more than good community vibes and energy, though. They provide jobs within the community, boost the local economy and - our favorite benefit - are more environmentally sustainable.
So skip Black Friday at the big box corporations and support your neighbors. Serenbe can’t wait to see you!
